Introduction to life as a student
Ever thought of what it’s like to be a student?
With university now becoming a normal part of life for the majority of people I feel it’s useful for those planning on going to be slightly prepared about what to expect once they get there.
After nearly completing my first year at Sheffield Hallam I feel that I now have a good enough insight into the life of a student.
Before I started I was completely unsure of what my first year was going to be like and if I was even going to be able to cope living away from home. University prospectus’ are full of what to expect on the actual course but give you no direction of what is going to happen out of it.
If you’re worried about student life, there’s definitely no need to worry because university has certainly allowed me to grow up and I’ve learnt so much along the way. The idea of being in loads of debt after you finish is forgotten about, your independence grows and you make so many new great friends.
